PET PUPPIES
If you are buying your puppy for a pet/companion, he or she will come with limited registration. This means that the puppy is not to be used in any breeding program, and will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age.
SHOW/BREEDING PUPPIES
If you are interested in "Full" AKC registration, you must let me know this up front. Full registration does not guarantee that the puppy purchased will be of breeding or show quality. Full registration gives the buyer the ability to breed, show, and register, the off spring with the American Kennel Club. The chihuahua should be examined by a veterinarian when it becomes of breeding age. The Vet can then determine if your chihuahua would be a good candidate for breeding.
Interested in one of our puppies?
After you have been approved to buy one of our puppies, you will need to send in a $200.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy until he or she is old enough to go to your home, or until delivery arrangements can be made. This deposit is only refundable should the puppy become sick or injured while still with us.
I allow 5 days for the deposit to be received, after that the puppy will be placed back up for adoption. We will gladly take PayPal for deposit, but you must add 3.5% to cover the transaction fee. I will also accept a U.S. Postal money order, which is due 14 days before puppy is to be shipped or cash (if you're picking the puppy up in person) for final payment.
I do NOT take personal or cashier checks.
The non-refundable deposit will be applied to the total payment for your puppy. If you're sending deposit by way of paypal, make sure you download the deposit contract and mail it in separately.
Health Guarantee
I guarantee our puppies to be happy and healthy at the time of pick up. We offer a 72 hour vet check guarantee. You have 3 days to have your new puppy checked by a Veterinarian of your choice. If your vet finds anything wrong with the puppy that you are uncomfortable with, we will gladly take the puppy back and give you a full refund. (Please note that the breeder will not be responsible for any vet bills or transportation/shipping costs.)
Shipping
I highly recommend that you make the drive to pick up the puppy in person, but if this is not possible, we do offer shipping from the Indianapolis International Airport. Please have the flight information and your ID with you when picking up your puppy and a supply of Nutrical. We like to wait until our puppies are at least 10 weeks old before we ship them. We want to make sure the puppy is ready before making such a stressful trip. Our main concern is the health of our babies.
The total cost of shipping is $300.00 (w/in the US), which covers:
Airfare
New Crate
Insurance
Vet Exam & Health Certificate
Transportation to Indianapolis International Airport
The puppy and the shipping costs must be paid in full by U.S. Postal money order 10 days prior to ship date.
